Getting yourself back
up after a fall is not the easiest. The part I find quite difficult is perhaps trying
to motivate yourself to do it. So how do you motivate yourself and
move on? Here are five ways how.
The key to getting motivated is setting down achievable goals. For certain list down a list of goals you are going to achieve.
Take small steps first. Start with making a small list of goals for each day. Once you achieve these goals consistently then start taking bigger steps. For example small list of goals for the day through to a weekly goal. IE:- Daily list: Shoppping, cleaning, washing, cooking, contacting friend. Weekly: Big shop, Job application, etc
Have a date to which you have to have the goal done. Your end aim for example could be to run in the New York marathon by the age of 35. With that goal firmly in mind, you can start making mini goals towards the bigger goal. Start training for the bigger goal by setting weekly goals of completing 5k runs consistently all week. Then move up to 10k runs, moving the amount run each week until you can run a marathon.
You may be the best of the best, but you do also need to prove it. Not only to others but yourself as well. You need to walk the talk. Start doing it. Start taking up new stuff to prove that you can do it too. Don't let these new experiences pass you by because you THINK you can do it. Just do it.
Never procrastinate! Success and motivation are inseparable. There is no success without motivation. Take note the most successful people in our world are more than likely not the smartest or talented but they all have masses of motivation. Remember be persistent in your goals. It will not do to procrastinate and put off today till tomorrow.
Most importantly,
remember that if you ever fall down again, get back up and try again.
You need to treat failure as a feedback for success. So start your
day tomorrow by achieving something great!
